Victoriano Bernaldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Usain Bolt's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leopoldo Rosa got free with Constantin Potocianu in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dep Colonia Avellaneda were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Mapovihesa FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Claudio Cerritos took the corner. The corner led Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Claudio Cerritos to fire away a dangerous shot which Constantin Potocianu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Nicanor Izel made in the 13th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Mariano Silbestre however managed to control. 18 minutes into the match, Mapovihesa FC's Usain Bolt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victoriano Bernaldo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 19th match minute, Mapovihesa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kálmán Pádár to maneuver through the defense. Constantin Potocianu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Rosa in the 22nd minute of the match. Mapovihesa FC's Rafael Figueroa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Nicanor Izel in the 24 minute of the game. Victoriano Bernaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Usain Bolt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Mapovihesa FC's Usain Bolt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victoriano Bernaldo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Usain Bolt took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victoriano Bernaldo. Victoriano Bernaldo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Dep Colonia Avellaneda were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Mapovihesa FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Claudio Cerritos took the corner. After taking down the ball on Dep Colonia Avellaneda's corner Florencio Carlomagno fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Constantin Potocianu quite easily take care of the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Usain Bolt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victoriano Bernaldo. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Usain Bolt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Kent Saka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 48 minutes into the match, Usain Bolt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victoriano Bernaldo. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Usain Bolt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. The Dep Colonia Avellaneda players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mapovihesa FC were winning 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Darryl Buckner made a kick off. Constantin Potocianu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Rosa in the 54th minute of play. Victoriano Bernaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Usain Bolt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victoriano Bernaldo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Usain Bolt went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Mapovihesa FC's Jerzy Wojno was substituted for Kent Saka. Mapovihesa FC made a substitution. Raimundo Erramu replaced Álvaro Prata. In the 64th minute Darryl Buckner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantin Potocianu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Constantin Potocianu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Rosa in the 65th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Leopoldo Rosa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Constantin Potocianu was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Darryl Buckner in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Constantin Potocianu saved Mapovihesa FC from getting behind. Constantin Potocianu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Rosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute, Santo Libertad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Victoriano Bernaldo got control of the ball when Usain Bolt tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 79th minute Darryl Buckner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantin Potocianu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Constantin Potocianu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Libertad in the 81st minute of play. Usain Bolt's late challenge caught a Dep Colonia Avellaneda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Usain Bolt helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th match minute, Mapovihesa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Usain Bolt to maneuver through the defense. Usain Bolt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Bernaldo having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Kálmán Pádár hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Mapovihesa FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mapovihesa FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
