Dida Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manoel Berger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tadeu Paiva took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dida Silva. Pindorama's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Pindorama's Dida Silva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Pindorama from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raúl de Brito in the 20th minute of play forced Alvi Verde's goalkeeper Daniel Cearense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th match minute, Alvi Verde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duarte Couto to maneuver through the defense. Dida Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manoel Berger in the 29th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manoel Berger in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dida Silva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 61st minute, Manoel Berger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Manoel Berger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the match, Pindorama's goal looked a bit too open when Manoel Berger came free, but Dida Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 72 played minutes Alvi Verde got a freekick which was hit by César Linares. When Váldson Prado fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alvi Verde's protests and gave Váldson Prado a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Alvi Verde's Váldson Prado got a free kick in the 75th minute. Pindorama's Dida Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manoel Berger in the 95th minute of play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dida Silva showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
