But to his dismay, Stoyo Abazov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. A collision led to La Vuelta del Malon getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Abuzer Bekdemir hit a great ball. With a little luck, La Vuelta del Malon's Abelardo Erlantz got control of the ball when Zé Bani tried to sneak it across the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stoyo Abazov to make the kick off. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Vuelta del Malon's goalkeeper Abelardo Erlantz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. LTA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pablo-Enrique Cuba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, La Vuelta del Malon's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo-Enrique Cuba came free, but Abelardo Erlantz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucio Maidana received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dalmacio Ebardo came out and tried to block the shot, but Lucio Maidana slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 93rd minute. After 96 played minutes La Vuelta del Malon got a freekick which was hit by Germán Casado. Despite being the better team, La Vuelta del Malon failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
