Spectators: 189 (Terracing: 143, Seating: 43, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Garth Brough took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of San Mauro A Mare FC booed when Australian Youth Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarrod Mcmillan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Samir Afacan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Garth Brough in the 5th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Australian Youth Academy's zone, Augusto Graziani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keylor Navas came out of the goal and Augusto Graziani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Garth Brough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, San Mauro A Mare FC's Samir Afacan got control of the ball when Garth Brough tried to sneak it across the goal line. Australian Youth Academy's Keylor Navas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Levent Hicran in the 19th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Garth Brough got free with Samir Afacan in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jarrod Mcmillan kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Levent Hicran took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Keylor Navas. Keylor Navas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Levent Hicran made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Augusto Graziani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Levent Hicran might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Keylor Navas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Levent Hicran ran back to his position shaking his head. Keylor Navas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Levent Hicran, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After 58 minutes of play, San Mauro A Mare FC's Levent Hicran made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Keylor Navas was left in no man's land by his defense there! San Mauro A Mare FC made a substitution. Augusto Riso replaced Francesco Cremonese. San Mauro A Mare FC's Samir Afacan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garth Brough in the 63rd minute of play. Keylor Navas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Levent Hicran in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the game, Levent Hicran recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Keylor Navas. Levent Hicran showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. San Mauro A Mare FC made a substitution. Vasco Bento replaced Trey Cai. In the 76th minute, San Mauro A Mare FC's Alex Orsi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Roy Baba kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Australian Youth Academy's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fan Liang Chong was slow to take the kick. During this time San Mauro A Mare FC's players had a chance to rest. Fan Liang Chong made a great header on San Mauro A Mare FC's corner, it was just that Australian Youth Academy's Keylor Navas managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience was convinced that Garth Brough's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samir Afacan was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Alex Orsi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th minute, Ciccio Di Loreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Garth Brough put it in 2-4 from a short distance just to the right of Samir Afacan. San Mauro A Mare FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
