Quinto Nobo took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anier Sayvion. Anier Sayvion dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With a little luck, Fuerzas Armadas's Coronel Valdivia got control of the ball when Naldo Fonseca tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 9th minute, Xerardo Amer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anier Sayvion was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 13 minutes into the game, Gaizkine Armada cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Anier Sayvion was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anier Sayvion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaizkine Armada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vanderslaike FC's Anier Sayvion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xerardo Amer in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Vanderslaike FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xerardo Amer came free, but Anier Sayvion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fuerzas Armadas's García Morales couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 21st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Vanderslaike FC. In the 24th minute Gaizkine Armada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Sayvion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anier Sayvion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quinto Nobo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Naldo Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Coronel Valdivia having to interfere. Quinto Nobo took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anier Sayvion. Anier Sayvion dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Xerardo Amer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Anier Sayvion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anier Sayvion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvio Rivas in the 35th minute of play. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xerardo Amer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anier Sayvion made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xerardo Amer in the 51st minute. Anier Sayvion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaizkine Armada, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Erivaldo Pereira hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. García Morales was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 58th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 59th minute, Elvio Rivas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fuerzas Armadas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. When Naldo Fonseca came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Vanderslaike FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Naldo Fonseca couldn't finish the play. 64 minutes into the match, Naldo Fonseca notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Fuerzas Armadas's Coronel Valdivia. Coronel Valdivia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Oswaldo Perez hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Vanderslaike FC's Anier Sayvion proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Vanderslaike FC from getting a goal against them. The referee ignored Fuerzas Armadas's protests and gave Urbasa Vazquez a yellow card for diving instead. Anier Sayvion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaizkine Armada in the 96th minute of play. The Vanderslaike FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Fuerzas Armadas were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
