In the 10th play minute Jacinto Eleazar came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Everardo Santxol. 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patricio Iratxo got free with Everardo Santxol in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bogdan Gopov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Everardo Santxol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club Atlético Ranchos's Everardo Santxol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermegildo Heriberto in the 17th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Punta Alvear's Ermegildo Heriberto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Everardo Santxol. That made the score 4-0 after 22 minutes of play. Jacinto Eleazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Patricio Iratxo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Everardo Santxol. That made the score 5-0 in the 29 minute of play. Club Atlético Ranchos's Everardo Santxol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Iratxo in the 33rd minute of play. Patricio Iratxo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Everardo Santxol made a huge save. 37 minutes into the game, Ermegildo Heriberto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Everardo Santxol was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 40 minutes into the match, Patricio Iratxo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Everardo Santxol. Club Atlético Ranchos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patricio Iratxo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. In the 44th minute, Ermegildo Heriberto fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With his leg Everardo Santxol managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Punta Alvear's Jacinto Eleazar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 45 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Ranchos's goalkeeper Everardo Santxol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patricio Iratxo. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 8-0.

51 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Ranchos's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Iratxo came free, but Everardo Santxol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacinto Eleazar scored 9-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Everardo Santxol, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 56 minutes into the game, Punta Alvear's Patricio Iratxo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Everardo Santxol made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. After having played for 59 minutes, Patricio Iratxo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Punta Alvear's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Iratxo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Punta Alvear booed when Club Atlético Ranchos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Obeko didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermegildo Heriberto in the 62nd minute of play forced Club Atlético Ranchos's goalkeeper Everardo Santxol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 65 minutes, Ermegildo Heriberto made it 11-0 with a short kick to the right side. Club Atlético Ranchos's Everardo Santxol tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Ranchos defense, Ermegildo Heriberto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Everardo Santxol. The Club Atlético Ranchos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Everardo Santxol should have stopped the shot. Everardo Santxol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Frichoso in the 71st minute of play. Everardo Santxol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Iratxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 75 minutes of play, Punta Alvear's Patricio Iratxo made it 13-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Everardo Santxol was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 78th minute, Gervasio Godoy made a precise shot to the right of Everardo Santxol. Club Atlético Ranchos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 14-0. Bogdan Gopov took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Everardo Santxol. Everardo Santxol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 15-0. Everardo Santxol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermegildo Heriberto in the 86th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervasio Godoy in the 87th minute of play forced Club Atlético Ranchos's goalkeeper Everardo Santxol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Ranchos's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Iratxo came free, but Everardo Santxol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Punta Alvear's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
