Spectators: 183 (Terracing: 138, Seating: 42, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Garth Brough made the kick off which started today's match. 5 minutes into the game, Roy Baba threw the ball into play from the sideline. Vanderslaike FC's Geovanni Vianna quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Garth Brough could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Anier Sayvion made a huge save. The supporters of Vanderslaike FC booed when Australian Youth Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Martini didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 9 played minutes Vanderslaike FC got a freekick which was hit by Bengt-Arne Stor. 11 minutes into the game, Geovanni Vianna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vanderslaike FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Australian Youth Academy the free kick. Australian Youth Academy's Rufus Roach couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 12th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Vanderslaike FC. Anier Sayvion was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Garth Brough capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Garth Brough really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Keylor Navas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Naldo Fonseca in the 18th minute of the match. Garth Brough recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anier Sayvion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garth Brough in the 26th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Vanderslaike FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marquinhos Mønster to maneuver through the defense. Keylor Navas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naldo Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Garth Brough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Australian Youth Academy's Garth Brough in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vanderslaike FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 41st minute, Australian Youth Academy's Garth Brough ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anier Sayvion. Anier Sayvion yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Anier Sayvion made an important save on a dangerous shot by Garth Brough in the 45th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Lopes during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th minute, José Lopes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Naldo Fonseca to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Garth Brough put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Anier Sayvion. In the 55th minute, Garth Brough ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anier Sayvion was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 59 minutes into the game, Australian Youth Academy's Garth Brough nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anier Sayvion made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. A throw-in in the 66th minute of the game was made by Oswaldo Perez with José Lopes as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When Garth Brough came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Australian Youth Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Garth Brough couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Garth Brough managed to get in a good position for a shot. Australian Youth Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Garth Brough was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anier Sayvion breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 74 minutes into the game, Australian Youth Academy's Garth Brough nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anier Sayvion made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Garth Brough scored 7-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anier Sayvion, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 90th minute Roy Baba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Sayvion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Roy Baba notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Vanderslaike FC's Anier Sayvion. Anier Sayvion was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Garth Brough in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anier Sayvion saved Vanderslaike FC from getting behind.
