Roel Saarberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Salgado in the 44th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Fast layne Fc's zone, Ferdi de Zaaijer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Motta came out of the goal and Ferdi de Zaaijer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute Arnaldo Salgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roel Saarberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Ademir Freitas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roel Saarberg. AVV Zeeburgia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ademir Freitas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0.
