Roel Saarberg came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Fast layne Fc's Arnaldo Salgado. But to his dismay, Arnaldo Salgado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 9th match minute, AVV Zeeburgia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willem Rijkaard to maneuver through the defense. Roel Saarberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Salgado in the 10th minute of play. After having played for 11 minutes, Ferdi de Zaaijer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AVV Zeeburgia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferdi de Zaaijer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marco Sleiffer charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marco Sleiffer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 48th minute, Marco Sleiffer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The AVV Zeeburgia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fast layne Fc were winning 0-4.

This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Roel Saarberg as he didn't even see the shot coming. Fast layne Fc's Charles Valadares was substituted for Remo Koehler. Roel Saarberg came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Fast layne Fc's Arnaldo Salgado. After some careless play in the AVV Zeeburgia defense, Vladimir Loyola kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roel Saarberg. The AVV Zeeburgia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roel Saarberg should have stopped the shot. Roel Saarberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles Valadares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vladimir Loyola got free with Roel Saarberg in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Simon Brun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Roel Saarberg made a huge save. AVV Zeeburgia's Roel Saarberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save AVV Zeeburgia from getting a goal against them. In the 90th minute, Fast layne Fc's Donato Leme ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roel Saarberg. Roel Saarberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Roel Saarberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Leme in the 93rd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the game, Fast layne Fc's Simon Brun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roel Saarberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. When the match was over Fast layne Fc could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than AVV Zeeburgia throughout the match.
