Spectators: 167 (Terracing: 126, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Narciso Ekain got the match started through his kick off. Alonzo Evarado hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Lázaro Odon was a little too slow when Leandro Soares got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 12th minute Leandro Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Odon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lázaro Odon came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Fc Benefica's Humberto Jonge. But to his dismay, Humberto Jonge quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Leandro Soares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Lázaro Odon made a huge save. Andres Eztebe kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After some careless play in the ESQUIU FC defense, Leandro Soares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lázaro Odon. The ESQUIU FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lázaro Odon should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Fc Benefica's Leandro Soares slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lázaro Odon. That made the score 4-0 after 27 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leandro Soares in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lázaro Odon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in ESQUIU FC's zone, Leandro Soares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lázaro Odon came out of the goal and Leandro Soares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jens van Basten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ESQUIU FC's Lázaro Odon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save ESQUIU FC from getting a goal against them. Leandro Soares received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lázaro Odon came out and tried to block the shot, but Leandro Soares slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 40th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leandro Soares was the one to do the kick off. Lázaro Odon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Soares in the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd minute Jens van Basten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Odon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leandro Soares in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lázaro Odon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lázaro Odon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leandro Soares went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. 65 minutes into the match, Leandro Soares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lázaro Odon. ESQUIU FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leandro Soares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. ESQUIU FC's Lázaro Odon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Soares in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Soares in the 70th minute of play forced ESQUIU FC's goalkeeper Lázaro Odon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute Leandro Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Odon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute Leandro Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Odon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75thth minute of the game Leandro Soares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ESQUIU FC's Lázaro Odon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leandro Soares scored 9-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lázaro Odon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Leandro Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lázaro Odon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Soares in the 83rd minute of play. David Wilmink hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Lázaro Odon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens van Basten in the 91st minute of the match. When Gilmar Maranhense fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fc Benefica's protests and gave Gilmar Maranhense a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Fc Benefica getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Gilmar Maranhense hit a great ball. Fc Benefica's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
