With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mecnun Seha in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Taco Uebels saved Fc Benefica from getting behind. In the 8thth minute of the game Mecnun Seha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fc Benefica's Taco Uebels was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Rydberg in the 11th minute of play forced Fc Benefica's goalkeeper Taco Uebels to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th match minute, MarineerS MzC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Derviş Akçınar to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leandro Soares in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnoldo Leicea saved MarineerS MzC from getting behind. Leandro Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Taco Uebels showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Rydberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Fc Benefica's goalkeeper Taco Uebels had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carl Rundell. Leandro Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Arnoldo Leicea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, MarineerS MzC's Olgierd Glapiak got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Taco Uebels was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dinç Tuncay showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 36 minute of play. A collision led to Fc Benefica getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Gilmar Maranhense hit a great ball. Fc Benefica's Leandro Soares got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diego Armando Santirso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The MarineerS MzC fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when MarineerS MzC's Carl Rundell looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The throw-in from Derviş Akçınar in the 61st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Fc Benefica's David Wilmink. After a rather tough play, MarineerS MzC's Kıvanç Balyemez got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the match, Fc Benefica's Leandro Soares broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leandro Soares in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnoldo Leicea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leandro Soares might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnoldo Leicea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leandro Soares ran back to his position shaking his head. MarineerS MzC made a substitution. Nereo Inge replaced Mecnun Seha. Taco Uebels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinç Tuncay in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute Diego Armando Santirso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taco Uebels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MarineerS MzC's Serafino Modestio was substituted for Dinç Tuncay. MarineerS MzC's Volkan İçten was substituted for Diego Armando Santirso. MarineerS MzC's Arnoldo Leicea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens van Basten in the 84th minute of play. If Leandro Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leandro Soares struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Arnoldo Leicea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Benefica. 90 minutes into the game, MarineerS MzC's Serafino Modestio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Taco Uebels made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 94th match minute, MarineerS MzC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Volkan İçten to maneuver through the defense. Fc Benefica's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
