The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Diego Buonanno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. ESQUIU FC's Lázaro Odon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Buonanno in the 4th minute of play. Ola Biörkman scored 2-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lázaro Odon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 14th minute Narciso Ekain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mai Namer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Diego Buonanno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lázaro Odon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Buonanno in the 16th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Football Club Kekke's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Gonsalve came free, but Mai Namer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diego Buonanno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Lázaro Odon made a huge save. In the 25th minute Football Club Kekke were awarded a corner. Hugo Winström went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Diego Buonanno managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Lázaro Odon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Buonanno, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute Diego Buonanno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Odon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Diego Buonanno made a precise shot to the right of Lázaro Odon. ESQUIU FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Ola Biörkman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Odon having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Football Club Kekke made a substitution. Florens á Neystabø replaced Diego Buonanno. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Narciso Ekain was the one to do the kick off. Lázaro Odon came out of the goal and Robin Martinsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Arne Thedin in the 68th minute of play forced ESQUIU FC's goalkeeper Lázaro Odon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Football Club Kekke's Ola Biörkman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lázaro Odon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. When Football Club Kekke's Florens á Neystabø in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 79th minute, Bengt-Arne Thedin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Football Club Kekke fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. After 85 minutes, Florens á Neystabø made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. ESQUIU FC's Lázaro Odon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Florens á Neystabø put it in 10-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lázaro Odon. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Football Club Kekke fully deserved thier win.
