Juan Manuel Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evrosi Darakchiev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Henric having to interfere. Temida Sf's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Roman Sharbanov in the 8th minute. A nice corner shot did that Roman Sharbanov got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Leo Henric quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 15 minutes into the match, Juan Manuel Cruz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ikonom Brúmbarov. Temida Sf's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Manuel Cruz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 21st minute Pavel Kenov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Henric saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venelin Levenski hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pavel Kenov in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leo Henric prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 29 minutes, Juan Manuel Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Azulgranas AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Manuel Cruz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Temida Sf's zone, Juan Manuel Cruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ikonom Brúmbarov came out of the goal and Juan Manuel Cruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sebastián Méndez made in the 36th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Temida Sf's Rumen Oblakov. Juan Manuel Cruz hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Azulgranas AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Radomir Naskrent in the 46th minute. The corner led Azulgranas AFC's Radomir Naskrent to fire away a dangerous shot which Ikonom Brúmbarov despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After the first half Azulgranas AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Lilko Grúmenov in the 51st minute of play forced Temida Sf's goalkeeper Ikonom Brúmbarov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Azulgranas AFC's Leo Henric played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavel Kenov in the 55th minute of play. Juan Manuel Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Ikonom Brúmbarov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Azulgranas AFC's Mateo Transito slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ikonom Brúmbarov. That made the score 0-2 after 74 minutes of play. After some careless play in the Azulgranas AFC defense, Dimitar Famparski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leo Henric. The Azulgranas AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leo Henric should have stopped the shot. Juan Manuel Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leo Henric showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitar Famparski, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Temida Sf's goalkeeper Ikonom Brúmbarov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Manuel Cruz. 92 minutes into the match, Azulgranas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitar Famparski came free, but Leo Henric reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Temida Sf's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Juan Manuel Cruz scored to the left of an out of position Ikonom Brúmbarov, making the score, 1-3.
