In the 13th minute, Borimir Kachov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Erik Cantona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Temida Sf's Ikonom Brúmbarov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Temida Sf from getting a goal against them. Erik Cantona could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Ikonom Brúmbarov made a huge save. 19 minutes into the game, Temida Sf's Pavel Kenov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joachim Forseth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in Saga TF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! In the 25th minute, Pavel Kenov made a precise shot to the right of Joachim Forseth. Saga TF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Pavel Kenov put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Joachim Forseth. With a little luck, Temida Sf's Ikonom Brúmbarov got control of the ball when Erik Cantona tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Roman Sharbanov came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Temida Sf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roman Sharbanov couldn't finish the play. Erik Cantona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Ikonom Brúmbarov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ikonom Brúmbarov made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Arne Botnen sent off a good shot on target.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pavel Kenov made a kick off. The supporters of Saga TF booed when Temida Sf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ognyan Baronov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ikonom Brúmbarov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Cantona in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Jo Gvardiol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Saga TF getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Jo Gvardiol hit a great ball. Pavel Kenov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joachim Forseth read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Saga TF's Joachim Forseth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavel Kenov in the 67th minute of play. Temida Sf made a substitution. After 70 minutes Saga TF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Evrosi Darakchiev who took care of the corner kick. Joachim Forseth yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Temida Sf's Ikonom Brúmbarov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arne Botnen in the 86th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Saga TF's Jo Gvardiol got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After 94 played minutes Saga TF got a freekick which was hit by Jo Gvardiol. After 97 played minutes, Temida Sf's Evrosi Darakchiev shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joachim Forseth came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Temida Sf reached it. The Saga TF manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Temida Sf to win.
