With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dorian Machado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Perivaldo Paulista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dorian Machado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnoldo Montrell, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Locomotiva grena's Dorian Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Inocente in the 31st minute of play. Arnoldo Montrell took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dorian Machado. Dorian Machado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. When Valencia Santa Fe's Arnoldo Montrell in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Locomotiva grena's goalie prevented a goal. The Locomotiva grena players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Valencia Santa Fe were winning 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Osvaldo Soares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jeronimo Dantel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Soares in the 51st minute of the match. Dorian Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Inocente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kaká Moraes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dorian Machado firmly grabbed it by the left post. Dorian Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Montrell in the 56th minute of play. With a little luck, Locomotiva grena's Dorian Machado got control of the ball when Felipe Inocente tried to sneak it across the goal line. Felipe Inocente scored 0-6 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dorian Machado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 87 minutes into the match, Arnoldo Montrell notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Locomotiva grena's Dorian Machado. Dorian Machado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
