Spectators: 165 (Terracing: 124, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) Inter Miami CF's Teo Pacorro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefanos Terzopoulos in the 5th minute of play. Esmeraldas S.C.'s Martinez Cines managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Juan Raúl Riquelme in the 6 minute of the game. 7 minutes into the match, Inter Miami CF's goalkeeper Teo Pacorro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Willy Reynolds. Esmeraldas S.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Stefanos Terzopoulos in the 9th minute. A nice corner shot did that Stefanos Terzopoulos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Teo Pacorro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Aguinaga Nebot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Raúl Riquelme in the 12th minute of the match. Esmeraldas S.C.'s Damian Maftei got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Inter Miami CF were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Esmeraldas S.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Enzo Iago took the corner. The corner ended in Juan Raúl Riquelme almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Esmeraldas S.C.'s Aguinaga Nebot did a great save. Teo Pacorro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Maftei in the 31st minute of the match. The throw-in from Piara Lider in the 34th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Esmeraldas S.C.'s Stefanos Terzopoulos. After 34 minutes of play, Esmeraldas S.C.'s Stefanos Terzopoulos made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teo Pacorro was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 38 minutes, Juan Raúl Riquelme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inter Miami CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Raúl Riquelme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Martinez Cines hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Aguinaga Nebot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Raúl Riquelme, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Esmeraldas S.C. were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Inter Miami CF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stefanos Terzopoulos took the corner. Esmeraldas S.C.'s Daniel Castillo was substituted for Martinez Cines. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damian Maftei in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teo Pacorro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Esmeraldas S.C. were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Inter Miami CF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stefanos Terzopoulos took the corner. After taking down the ball on Esmeraldas S.C.'s corner Oskar Petersson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Teo Pacorro quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Maftei in the 76th minute of play forced Inter Miami CF's goalkeeper Teo Pacorro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stefanos Terzopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Teo Pacorro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aguinaga Nebot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Raúl Riquelme, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefanos Terzopoulos in the 87th minute of play forced Inter Miami CF's goalkeeper Teo Pacorro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Inter Miami CF's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Castillo came free, but Teo Pacorro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 94 minutes, Benedicto Maiorga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inter Miami CF and the Esmeraldas S.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Benedicto Maiorga kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Inter Miami CF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Esmeraldas S.C..
