The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo 11's goal looked a bit too open when Huang Guo Feng came free, but Aurelio Astudillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boğaç Altuncuoğlu in the 6th minute of play forced FC Jones's goalkeeper Isak Stenquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute Huang Guo Feng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Astudillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tarmo Pasanen came free with the goalkeeper in the 11th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aurelio Astudillo could save by the left post. The supporters of FC Jones booed when San Lorenzo 11 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Betadur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aurelio Astudillo was a little too slow when Huang Guo Feng got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-0. 26 minutes into the match, Tarmo Pasanen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aurelio Astudillo, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boğaç Altuncuoğlu in the 29th minute of play forced FC Jones's goalkeeper Isak Stenquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute San Lorenzo 11 were awarded a corner. Silvio Asier went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 32ndth minute of the game Huang Guo Feng who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Lorenzo 11's Aurelio Astudillo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Håkan Landin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aurelio Astudillo. San Lorenzo 11's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Håkan Landin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Tarmo Pasanen hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Santiago Sidro hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. FC Jones's Martin Bergren was substituted for Voldemar Jõgi. A collision led to San Lorenzo 11 getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Santiago Sidro hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, one of San Lorenzo 11:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for San Lorenzo 11. 41 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo 11's goalkeeper Aurelio Astudillo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tarmo Pasanen. Isak Stenquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boğaç Altuncuoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The supporters of FC Jones booed when San Lorenzo 11 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Eneko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Boğaç Altuncuoğlu to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, FC Jones's Huang Guo Feng nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aurelio Astudillo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Huang Guo Feng in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aurelio Astudillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 65 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo 11's goal looked a bit too open when Tarmo Pasanen came free, but Aurelio Astudillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. San Lorenzo 11's Aurelio Astudillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Huang Guo Feng in the 70th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boğaç Altuncuoğlu got free with Isak Stenquist in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tarmo Pasanen in the 73rd minute of play forced San Lorenzo 11's goalkeeper Aurelio Astudillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurelio Astudillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Huang Guo Feng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute Boğaç Altuncuoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isak Stenquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tarmo Pasanen took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aurelio Astudillo. Aurelio Astudillo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Tarmo Pasanen struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Aurelio Astudillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Jones. Aurelio Astudillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tarmo Pasanen in the 88th minute of the match. Aurelio Astudillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tarmo Pasanen, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Claudio Bucciarelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Jones made a substitution. Silvo Gustafsson replaced Tarmo Pasanen. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boğaç Altuncuoğlu in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isak Stenquist saved FC Jones from getting behind. FC Jones were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of San Lorenzo 11 for a fine match.
