After a rather tough play, FC Jones's Huang Guo Feng got a free kick in the 51st minute. When Zé Paulo Lucas fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The supporters of FC Jones booed when San Lorenzo 11 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Betadur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Håkan Landin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aurelio Astudillo firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 90th minute, Boğaç Altuncuoğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Emanuil Pashovski took a quick shot and it went in 3-4 without a chance for Aurelio Astudillo to make any attempt to save it. The FC Jones supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Jones would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
