The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 9 minutes into the game, ZONGULDAKKÖMÜRSPOR's Başaran Akın nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jude Bonham made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, ZONGULDAKKÖMÜRSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Bowler came free, but Köksal Demren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Köksal Demren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chris Bowler's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Chris Bowler put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Köksal Demren. If Şehzade Kutel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute Chris Bowler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Köksal Demren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hasan Tahsin Tamay hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. The supporters of Barr Point booed when ZONGULDAKKÖMÜRSPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şehzade Kutel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Köksal Demren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Den Newland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jude Bonham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Başaran Akın, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Chris Bowler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barr Point's supporters rose to their feet, but Chris Bowler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Köksal Demren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game was made by Bünyamin Bakkalbaşıoğlu with Hasan Tahsin Tamay as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Şehzade Kutel was shown his second yellow card after 44 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. 46 minutes into the game, Jamie Mayfield was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barr Point's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ZONGULDAKKÖMÜRSPOR the free kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Den Newland was the one to do the kick off. CJ Street kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. ZONGULDAKKÖMÜRSPOR's Gürhan Demirel shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 51st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jude Bonham but with some difficulty. 54 minutes into the match, ZONGULDAKKÖMÜRSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Den Newland came free, but Köksal Demren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute Barr Point were awarded a corner. CJ Street went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Alfred Doona almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ZONGULDAKKÖMÜRSPOR's Köksal Demren did a great save. Suphi Polatalp charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Suphi Polatalp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Barr Point booed when ZONGULDAKKÖMÜRSPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Suphi Polatalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brett Leeson in the 60th minute of play forced ZONGULDAKKÖMÜRSPOR's goalkeeper Köksal Demren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orhan Onatsu got free with Jude Bonham in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Köksal Demren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Den Newland in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, Bünyamin Bakkalbaşıoğlu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Barr Point's Jamal Dobson quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Jude Bonham made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Başaran Akın sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Den Newland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Köksal Demren was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. In the 82nd match minute, Barr Point was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Den Newland to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute Chris Bowler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Köksal Demren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to ZONGULDAKKÖMÜRSPOR getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Bünyamin Bakkalbaşıoğlu hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the match, Barr Point's CJ Street broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Jamie Mayfield came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Barr Point fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jamie Mayfield couldn't finish the play. After 95 played minutes ZONGULDAKKÖMÜRSPOR got a freekick which was hit by Suphi Polatalp. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
