Virtual Aces's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rubén Martínez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Virtual Aces's Frederick Van Gorp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubén Martínez in the 10th minute of play. Rambo Ramírez made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Qian Qing sent off a good shot on target. In the 18th match minute, Colo-Colo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubén Martínez to maneuver through the defense. Frederick Van Gorp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubén Martínez in the 20th minute of the match. When Honorio Droguett came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Colo-Colo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorio Droguett couldn't finish the play. 25 minutes into the match, Colo-Colo's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Petersson came free, but Rambo Ramírez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Marco-Antonio Etcheverry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute Rubén Martínez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederick Van Gorp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Rubén Martínez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frederick Van Gorp was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Rubén Martínez put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Frederick Van Gorp. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rubén Martínez in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frederick Van Gorp saved Virtual Aces from getting behind. Frederick Van Gorp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubén Martínez in the 39th minute of the match. Frederick Van Gorp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubén Martínez in the 43rd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Colo-Colo's Rubén Martínez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frederick Van Gorp narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victor Petersson made a kick off. In the 55thth minute of the game Rubén Martínez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Virtual Aces's Frederick Van Gorp was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rambo Ramírez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Petersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rambo Ramírez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Petersson in the 85th minute of the match. In the 91st minute of the match Klas Almqvist sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rambo Ramírez skillfully saved the ball. Frederick Van Gorp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivo Basay in the 95th minute. The Colo-Colo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Colo-Colo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
