Frederick Van Gorp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justino Eusko in the 10th minute of play. After 15th play minutes Bob Geldof shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Frederick Van Gorp and just under the crossbar into goal. With a little luck, Virtual Aces's Frederick Van Gorp got control of the ball when Bob Geldof tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bob Geldof took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frederick Van Gorp. Frederick Van Gorp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Victor Petersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Mateo having to interfere. Frederick Van Gorp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oğuzer Saye, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Fleetwood Town's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Petersson came free, but Cristian Mateo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Virtual Aces's Øystein Rullhøj was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cristian Mateo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 42 minutes into the match, Virtual Aces's goal looked a bit too open when Bob Geldof came free, but Frederick Van Gorp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Chukwualuka Okaka Chuka almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Virtual Aces's Frederick Van Gorp did a great save. Manuel Jacinto lost his temper 45 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 45 minutes into the game, one of Virtual Aces:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bob Geldof stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Frederick Van Gorp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rick Shaw, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Rick Shaw sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frederick Van Gorp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oğuzer Saye in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, Justino Eusko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Frederick Van Gorp was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bob Geldof received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Frederick Van Gorp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Klas Almqvist hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Frederick Van Gorp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bob Geldof, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 71 minutes, Johan Mjällby mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Virtual Aces and the Fleetwood Town players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Fleetwood Town booed when Virtual Aces was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johan Mjällby didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 84 played minutes Virtual Aces got a freekick which was hit by Habakkuk Velázquez. Frederick Van Gorp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oğuzer Saye in the 85th minute of play. Fleetwood Town's Cristian Mateo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Petersson in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oğuzer Saye in the 94th minute of play forced Virtual Aces's goalkeeper Frederick Van Gorp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Fleetwood Town's Oğuzer Saye fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Fleetwood Town walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
