Co Vid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lara Guadalupi having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Big Fart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Porvoon Futura getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Jari Litmanen hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Co Vid notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of MAGNIFICOS.FC's Lara Guadalupi. Lara Guadalupi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 35thth minute of the game Geert Wijgaert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Porvoon Futura's Francesco Toldo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 36 minutes Porvoon Futura's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gilberto Lalla who took care of the corner kick. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Porvoon Futura's goalkeeper Francesco Toldo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. MAGNIFICOS.FC were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Porvoon Futura's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gilberto Lalla took the corner. Pedro Requena made a great header on MAGNIFICOS.FC's corner, it was just that Porvoon Futura's Francesco Toldo managed to reach the ball for a save. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Porvoon Futura's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. When Geert Wijgaert came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the MAGNIFICOS.FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geert Wijgaert couldn't finish the play. Porvoon Futura's Francesco Toldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geert Wijgaert in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Porvoon Futura's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
