Cipriano Pinho started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, David Grep hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 7 minutes of play, Agua Santa's Nico Quintal made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Folke Månsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Folke Månsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Pinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomé Mota made an important save on a dangerous shot by Max Kilstedt in the 20th minute. After 24 minutes of play, Wrexham A.F.C.'s Max Kilstedt made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomé Mota was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Per-Oskar Wiberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wrexham A.F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Per-Oskar Wiberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomé Mota breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cléberson do Valle's late challenge caught a Wrexham A.F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cléberson do Valle helped the player get up and apologised. Cléberson do Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Wrexham A.F.C.'s Folke Månsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nico Quintal in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Agua Santa were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Agua Santa's Olavo Vianna was substituted for Emanuel Vianna. Agua Santa's Pedro Luís Arantes was substituted for Murilo Fernandes. Agua Santa's Tomé Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Johan Lund in the 63rd minute of play. Lúcio Viana took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Folke Månsson. Folke Månsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Cipriano Pinho kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the game, Karl-Johan Lund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wrexham A.F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Agua Santa the free kick. After a rather tough play, Wrexham A.F.C.'s Karl-Johan Lund got a free kick in the 80th minute. After a rather tough play, Agua Santa's Lúcio Viana got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Tomé Mota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Grep, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The Agua Santa supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Agua Santa would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
