But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christiaan Elsen couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Nacho Zafirov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eser Şemsi was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Eser Şemsi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Nejat Özsungur in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th minute All Stars Gent were awarded a corner. After 21 played minutes team pollen got a freekick which was hit by Rafa Figueiredo. Eser Şemsi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Nejat Özsungur in the 25th minute of play. All Stars Gent's Eser Şemsi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredrik Aalvik in the 26th minute of play. After having played for 28 minutes, Brend Van Laeck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. All Stars Gent's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brend Van Laeck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, All Stars Gent's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Nejat Özsungur came free, but Eser Şemsi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eser Şemsi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Nejat Özsungur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brend Van Laeck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Cheng Qiang made a huge save. Cheng Qiang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brend Van Laeck, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. All Stars Gent were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after team pollen's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Christiaan Elsen took the corner. In the 43rd minute Esterilla Van Meenen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cheng Qiang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ali Nejat Özsungur was the one to do the kick off. Christiaan Elsen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cheng Qiang having to make a save. In the 56th minute Brend Van Laeck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cheng Qiang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nacho Zafirov during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nacho Zafirov kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Esterilla Van Meenen managed to get in a good position for a shot. All Stars Gent's supporters rose to their feet, but Esterilla Van Meenen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. With an all-out effort, team pollen's Eser Şemsi threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nacho Zafirov, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by All Stars Gent's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rafa Figueiredo was slow to take the kick. During this time team pollen's players had a chance to rest. Rafa Figueiredo made a great header on team pollen's corner, it was just that All Stars Gent's Eser Şemsi managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Nejat Özsungur in the 71st minute of play forced All Stars Gent's goalkeeper Eser Şemsi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The All Stars Gent supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching team pollen's performance. The match ended with a win for team pollen.
