After 10 played minutes ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC got a freekick which was hit by Vinícius Junior. 12 minutes into the match, Wallace FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bóas Bolas came free, but Bruno Elia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute of the match, Benigno Oxel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dário Veríssimo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Wallace FC's Bruno Elia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bóas Bolas in the 16th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Wallace FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bóas Bolas came free, but Bruno Elia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 24 played minutes ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Jordão. In the 26th minute Benigno Oxel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dário Veríssimo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Alfredo Jordão hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Wallace FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vinícius Junior came free, but Bruno Elia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Elia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bóas Bolas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Wallace FC defense, Bóas Bolas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Elia. The Wallace FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Elia should have stopped the shot. 45 minutes into the game, one of Wallace FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 46th minute, Bóas Bolas made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Elia. Wallace FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frederico Salazar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Memphis Depay's late challenge caught a Wallace FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Memphis Depay helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd minute, Memphis Depay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramiro Liberto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dário Veríssimo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Duardo in the 57th minute of play. Bóas Bolas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Bruno Elia made a huge save. ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bóas Bolas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Elia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 74 minutes into the match, Wallace FC's goalkeeper Bruno Elia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vinícius Junior. In the 80th minute, Vinícius Junior left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Dário Veríssimo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Liberto in the 85th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramiro Liberto in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dário Veríssimo saved ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC from getting behind. Bruno Elia made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Vinícius Junior sent off a good shot on target. 93 minutes into the match, Wallace FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vinícius Junior came free, but Bruno Elia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bóas Bolas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bruno Elia came out and tried to block the shot, but Bóas Bolas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 95th minute. The ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
