After a rather tough play, Club de la Serpiente's Ismael Gutxi got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 14th minute Roy De Witte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nacho Gonzalez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luisinho Laguna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guaberto Micael read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Daniel Lekubegi threw the ball into play from the sideline. El Gallo de Moron's Franco Ternero quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Guaberto Micael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisinho Laguna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Club de la Serpiente fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 28 minutes into the match, Club de la Serpiente's goal looked a bit too open when Luisinho Laguna came free, but Guaberto Micael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute of the match El Gallo de Moron got a corner. Club de la Serpiente's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Teofilo Garrote ran over to the corner to take the kick. Franco Ternero made a great header on El Gallo de Moron's corner, it was just that Club de la Serpiente's Guaberto Micael managed to reach the ball for a save. 34 minutes into the game, El Gallo de Moron's Luisinho Laguna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guaberto Micael made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Luisinho Laguna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vanja Džaferović kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Franco Ternero charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Franco Ternero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th minute, Franco Ternero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luisinho Laguna to make the kick off. Roy De Witte kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Guaberto Micael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisinho Laguna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luisinho Laguna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Guaberto Micael made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luisinho Laguna in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guaberto Micael prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Luisinho Laguna sped through Club de la Serpiente's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Guaberto Micael. 58 minutes into the match, El Gallo de Moron's Luisinho Laguna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guaberto Micael narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club de la Serpiente's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Teofilo Garrote was slow to take the kick. During this time El Gallo de Moron's players had a chance to rest. The corner led El Gallo de Moron's Aldo Rico to fire away a dangerous shot which Guaberto Micael despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Guaberto Micael made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Luisinho Laguna sent off a good shot on target. When Luisinho Laguna came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the El Gallo de Moron fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luisinho Laguna couldn't finish the play. In the 68th match minute, Club de la Serpiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Hanni to maneuver through the defense. Luisinho Laguna came free with the goalkeeper in the 69th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Guaberto Micael could save by the left post. In the 70th minute of the match El Gallo de Moron got a corner. Club de la Serpiente's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Teofilo Garrote ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Club de la Serpiente's goalie and right to Vanja Džaferović. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Club de la Serpiente's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luisinho Laguna got free with Guaberto Micael in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 72 played minutes Luisinho Laguna rounded Club de la Serpiente's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-4. Luisinho Laguna's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Guaberto Micael skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Guaberto Micael made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Luisinho Laguna sent off a good shot on target. In the 82nd minute of the match El Gallo de Moron got a corner. Club de la Serpiente's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Teofilo Garrote ran over to the corner to take the kick. 85 minutes into the match, El Gallo de Moron's Luisinho Laguna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guaberto Micael narrowly saved just below the crossbar. El Gallo de Moron were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Club de la Serpiente's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Teofilo Garrote took the corner. In the 95th minute, Luisinho Laguna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guaberto Micael was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. When the final whistle sounded El Gallo de Moron left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Club de la Serpiente.
