The audience was convinced that Stefan Lesiecki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paul Nazar was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Twierdza Wroclaw's Niculae Buznea shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 89th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Paul Nazar but with some difficulty. Stefan Lesiecki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paul Nazar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play.
