Manuel Jatsu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kjell Sjöö came out and tried to block the shot, but Manuel Jatsu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 10th minute. Alvaro Montrell kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Erik Vihonský shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herminio Guillelme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kjell Sjöö showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Montrell in the 20th minute of the match. Manuel Jatsu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kjell Sjöö read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, Copérnico F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustin Raymon to maneuver through the defense. Herminio Guillelme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lúcio Sá, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herminio Guillelme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khaidir Sopandi in the 35th minute of the match. In the 39th match minute, Copérnico F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ariel Delfino to maneuver through the defense. Copérnico F.C.'s Herminio Guillelme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Reis in the 39th minute of play. Herminio Guillelme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Vihonský in the 41st minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

51 minutes into the game, Copérnico F.C.'s Alvaro Montrell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kjell Sjöö made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Curiphila Eagles's Kjell Sjöö played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Jatsu in the 55th minute of play. Copérnico F.C. made a substitution. Francisco Herrera replaced Manuel Jatsu. After 58 minutes Curiphila Eagles's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ariel Delfino who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Copérnico F.C.'s Agustin Raymon got a free kick in the 60th minute. Arnoldo Txatxu hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, Copérnico F.C.'s goalkeeper Herminio Guillelme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erik Vihonský. After a rather tough play, Copérnico F.C.'s Alvaro Montrell got a free kick in the 65th minute. The supporters of Curiphila Eagles booed when Copérnico F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustin Raymon didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Curiphila Eagles players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Copérnico F.C..
