The audience thought a goal was coming when Dinu Pelin got free with André Nordmark in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Remus Vuia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Ola Haegg in the 8th minute of the match. FC Blueskatterna's André Nordmark proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save FC Blueskatterna from getting a goal against them. In the 15th match minute, Granicerul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurențiu Ciocâltea to maneuver through the defense. Granicerul's Remus Vuia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Björkman in the 16th minute of play. After 20 minutes Granicerul's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Henrik Löv who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Jens-Ola Haegg almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Granicerul's Remus Vuia did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eric Simion got free with André Nordmark in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. André Nordmark took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jack Ares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jack Ares in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck André Nordmark prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th minute Granicerul were awarded a corner. Valeriu Zoreanu went to the cornerflag to take it. Eric Simion took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised André Nordmark. André Nordmark dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Dinu Pelin in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of André Nordmark, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Granicerul's Dinu Pelin managed to work through FC Blueskatterna's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Dinu Pelin dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 38th minute, Henrik Löv made a precise shot to the right of Remus Vuia. Granicerul's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Valeriu Zoreanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but André Nordmark made a huge save. Laurențiu Ciocâltea kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. When Henrik Löv came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the FC Blueskatterna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrik Löv couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Peter Björkman to strike the kick off in the second half. If Dinu Pelin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henrik Löv kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Dinu Pelin kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Remus Vuia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peter Björkman's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. When Joachim Bergman fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Blueskatterna's protests and gave Joachim Bergman a yellow card for diving instead. Joachim Bergman kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. FC Blueskatterna made a substitution. Östen Wik replaced Joachim Bergman. In the 68th minute, Joachim Bergman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Osvald Boström hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute Valeriu Zoreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Nordmark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Nordmark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valeriu Zoreanu in the 75th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Henrik Löv hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, FC Blueskatterna's goal looked a bit too open when Dinu Pelin came free, but André Nordmark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 84 minutes of play, Granicerul's Eric Simion made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. André Nordmark was left in no man's land by his defense there! 86 minutes into the game, Alex Isaksson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Blueskatterna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Granicerul the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC Blueskatterna's Alex Isaksson got a free kick in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Fagrell in the 91st minute of play forced Granicerul's goalkeeper Remus Vuia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. André Nordmark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinu Pelin in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, one of Granicerul:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. FC Blueskatterna played a much better game than Granicerul and deserved their victory. The Granicerul players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
