The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Amado Gudesteo charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amado Gudesteo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Atletico Patoruzu booed when TALLERITO TDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Gudesteo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Braga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Harman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by TALLERITO TDF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rúben Verdun was slow to take the kick. During this time Atletico Patoruzu's players had a chance to rest. Robustiano Hitzeder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gualterio Aguirre in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Braga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luís Braga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Aguirre in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, TALLERITO TDF's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Latorre came free, but Luís Braga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Gualterio Aguirre sped through TALLERITO TDF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luís Braga. If Gualterio Aguirre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Braga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Aguirre in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Gualterio Aguirre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Braga was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualterio Aguirre in the 35th minute of play forced TALLERITO TDF's goalkeeper Luís Braga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the TALLERITO TDF defense, Gualterio Aguirre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Braga. The TALLERITO TDF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Braga should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gualterio Aguirre in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Braga saved TALLERITO TDF from getting behind. Wiley Boyle hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind TALLERITO TDF's goalkeeper Luís Braga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Rene Harman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atletico Patoruzu made a substitution. Teobaldo Gaizkine replaced Diego Latorre. Luís Braga was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Gualterio Aguirre capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gualterio Aguirre really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Jonathan Iruinea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Braga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teobaldo Gaizkine in the 71st minute. If Gualterio Aguirre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. Robustiano Hitzeder kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gualterio Aguirre in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Braga saved TALLERITO TDF from getting behind. Jonathan Iruinea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Atletico Patoruzu's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
