Inter de Munique's Fabrício Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zico Orange in the 21st minute of play. In the 49th minute, Oswaldo Lucas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Aldair Orange couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 50th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Inter de Munique.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andoni Donadoni was the one to do the kick off. In the 87th match minute, Inter de Munique was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oswaldo Lucas to maneuver through the defense. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Edinho Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andoni Donadoni in the 89th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Reinaldo Damião in the 93rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Zinédine Orange.
