After a rather tough play, Viejo Lobo De Mar's Hugo Kelemen got a free kick in the 14th minute. VBL Stockholm's Carl-Chester Vallgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save VBL Stockholm from getting a goal against them. A collision led to VBL Stockholm getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Ulrik Josefsson hit a great ball. Damaso Urbez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joseph Paulin, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 26 minutes into the match, VBL Stockholm's goal looked a bit too open when Zbyszko Dziewedik came free, but Carl-Chester Vallgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. VBL Stockholm's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Rene Laurgain scored to the left of an out of position Carl-Chester Vallgren, making the score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbyszko Dziewedik in the 36th minute of play forced VBL Stockholm's goalkeeper Carl-Chester Vallgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joseph Paulin took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damaso Urbez. Damaso Urbez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 45th minute, Zbyszko Dziewedik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carl-Chester Vallgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The supporters of Viejo Lobo De Mar booed when VBL Stockholm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Edvin Åström didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damaso Urbez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carl-Chester Vallgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbyszko Dziewedik in the 86th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zbyszko Dziewedik in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carl-Chester Vallgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The VBL Stockholm fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carl-Chester Vallgren should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Viejo Lobo De Mar lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
