With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maurinho Mendonça in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcus de Godoi saved Mineiros Esporte Clube from getting behind. After 13 minutes Mineiros Esporte Clube's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ruben Malta who took care of the corner kick. Robin von Gyldenfeldt's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Birila Graña skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Maurinho Mendonça blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcus de Godoi having to make a save. Marcus de Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurinho Mendonça in the 24th minute of play. Klas Harlén hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After having played for 31 minutes, Norino Tostado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Claretiano FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norino Tostado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Mineiros Esporte Clube's Mazinho Mendonça in 33 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Birila Graña guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Birila Graña made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Artem Savin sent off a good shot on target. Marcus de Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurinho Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Bruninho Seco made in the 55th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Klas Harlén. A collision led to Claretiano FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Ruben Malta hit a great ball. If Maurinho Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claretiano FC's Birila Graña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin von Gyldenfeldt in the 69th minute of play. In the 73rd minute Wallace Randall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birila Graña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Claretiano FC's Maurinho Mendonça got a free kick in the 74th minute. Claretiano FC's Benigno Viñal was substituted for Norino Tostado. Maurinho Mendonça hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Birila Graña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robin von Gyldenfeldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After some careless play in the Claretiano FC defense, Wallace Randall kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Birila Graña. The Claretiano FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Birila Graña should have stopped the shot. After 81 played minutes Mineiros Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Souza. In the 84th minute, Gelacio Salceda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dalmu Torre hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Benigno Viñal charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benigno Viñal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Benigno Viñal kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Mineiros Esporte Clube were the better team. Mineiros Esporte Clube's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
