An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodor Čerina in the 19th minute of play forced De krokante kroketjes's goalkeeper Jurgen Goris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, De krokante kroketjes's Gu Guang Cheng sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maurice Himschoot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Maurice Himschoot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gu Guang Cheng in the 25th minute. In the 31st minute, Lun Majstorović ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jurgen Goris was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Maurice Himschoot made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Gu Guang Cheng sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gu Guang Cheng got free with Maurice Himschoot in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 37 minutes into the match, Ismael Roldanillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jurgen Goris. De krokante kroketjes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ismael Roldanillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. When De krokante kroketjes's Gu Guang Cheng, in the 42nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for De krokante kroketjes. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind NK FOLKROLA's goalkeeper Maurice Himschoot, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gu Guang Cheng to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, De krokante kroketjes's goalkeeper Jurgen Goris had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teodor Čerina. But to his dismay, Gu Guang Cheng quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Jurgen Goris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ožbalt Ajdič in the 87th minute of play. Jurgen Goris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lun Majstorović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jurgen Goris was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The De krokante kroketjes fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. NK FOLKROLA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
