The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marcus de Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ožbalt Ajdič in the 2nd minute of the match. A collision led to Mineiros Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Eliseu Maciel hit a great ball. John Melet was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 4th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Lun Majstorović spun around in front of the goal 6 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Mineiros Esporte Clube's goal. Marcus de Godoi came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by NK FOLKROLA's John Melet. But to his dismay, John Melet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. With a little luck, Mineiros Esporte Clube's Marcus de Godoi got control of the ball when Teodor Čerina tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pascual Pagomari lost his temper 17 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. NK FOLKROLA:s Maurice Himschoot showed great skill when he stopped Robin von Gyldenfeldt:s penalty. In the 19th minute of the match, Lun Majstorović tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcus de Godoi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Marcus de Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lun Majstorović in the 21st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Ismael Roldanillo could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Marcus de Godoi however easily saved by the left post. Ismael Roldanillo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcus de Godoi firmly grabbed it by the left post. NK FOLKROLA were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Mineiros Esporte Clube's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. John Melet took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Silvester Čuvan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcus de Godoi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 30th minute, Robin von Gyldenfeldt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maurice Himschoot was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Mazinho Mendonça managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mineiros Esporte Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Mazinho Mendonça was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maurice Himschoot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcus de Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lun Majstorović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mineiros Esporte Clube's Marcus de Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Roldanillo in the 37th minute of play. Marcus de Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lun Majstorović, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute of the match NK FOLKROLA got a corner. Mineiros Esporte Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. John Melet ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to NK FOLKROLA's Silvester Čuvan getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. If Ismael Roldanillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lun Majstorović to make the kick off. Mineiros Esporte Clube's Marcus de Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lun Majstorović in the 52nd minute of play. The supporters of NK FOLKROLA booed when Mineiros Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidro Fagildo didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maurice Himschoot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcus de Godoi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mazinho Mendonça got free with Maurice Himschoot in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 69th minute of the match Mineiros Esporte Clube got a corner. NK FOLKROLA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The audience was convinced that Lun Majstorović's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcus de Godoi was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. NK FOLKROLA's Maurice Himschoot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wallace Randall in the 72nd minute of play. John Melet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Marcus de Godoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lun Majstorović in the 76th minute of play forced Mineiros Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Marcus de Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ismael Roldanillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus de Godoi having to interfere. After 79 minutes of play, NK FOLKROLA's Lun Majstorović made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcus de Godoi was left in no man's land by his defense there!
