Spectators: 149 (Terracing: 112, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alexsandro Britto kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Squadra Demarchi's zone, Horea Panaitoiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar Saldanha came out of the goal and Horea Panaitoiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute of the match Squadra Demarchi got a corner. FC Berea's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Claudinho Loyola ran over to the corner to take the kick. Claudinho Loyola made a great header on Squadra Demarchi's corner, it was just that FC Berea's Dacian Iurea managed to reach the ball for a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Moise Boacă managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Berea's supporters rose to their feet, but Moise Boacă was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oscar Saldanha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 21 minutes into the match, Squadra Demarchi's goal looked a bit too open when Horea Panaitoiu came free, but Oscar Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led FC Berea's Basarab Arotăriței to fire away a dangerous shot which Oscar Saldanha despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 24thth minute of the game Horea Panaitoiu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Squadra Demarchi's Oscar Saldanha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of FC Berea booed when Squadra Demarchi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sérgio Batista didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iwo Madej kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Claudinho Loyola managed to get in a good position for a shot. Squadra Demarchi's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudinho Loyola was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dacian Iurea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Squadra Demarchi's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Petrică Gherghe scored to the left of an out of position Oscar Saldanha, making the score, 1-0. 41 minutes into the match, Alexsandro Britto notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of FC Berea's Dacian Iurea. Dacian Iurea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adrian Hâldan made in the 45th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Squadra Demarchi's Samuel Ribeiro. Samuel Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Dacian Iurea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Horea Panaitoiu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, FC Berea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Hâldan to maneuver through the defense. When Eric Dărmănescu came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the FC Berea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eric Dărmănescu couldn't finish the play. Toader Buzoianu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 57 minutes of play, FC Berea's Horea Panaitoiu made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oscar Saldanha was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Richard Moura during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Oscar Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basarab Arotăriței in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th match minute, Squadra Demarchi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Pereira to maneuver through the defense. Sérgio Batista hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the game's 66th minute FC Berea's Basarab Arotăriței took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Oscar Saldanha and thus the score was 3-1. Oscar Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horea Panaitoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute Horea Panaitoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Squadra Demarchi getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Samuel Ribeiro hit a great ball. Victor Rotariu hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Oscar Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horea Panaitoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute of the match FC Berea got a corner. After 87 minutes, Ernesto Pereira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Squadra Demarchi and the FC Berea players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th minute, Ernesto Pereira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute of the match, Kléber Queirós got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dacian Iurea was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Oscar Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toader Buzoianu in the 93rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kléber Queirós got free with Dacian Iurea in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
