Guilherme Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavel Balc, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Guilherme Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pavel Balc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Simon Tomasson hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. When Stone City's Pavel Balc in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC St. Pauli's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Pavel Balc put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Guilherme Mendonça. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Pavel Balc managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stone City's supporters rose to their feet, but Pavel Balc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guilherme Mendonça breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A throw-in in the 18th minute of the game was made by Lucas Loureiro with Luan Moreno as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Lucas Loureiro kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After some careless play in the FC St. Pauli defense, Pavel Balc kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guilherme Mendonça. The FC St. Pauli fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guilherme Mendonça should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Stone City booed when FC St. Pauli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Loureiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guilherme Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chu Wen Le in the 27th minute of play. Guilherme Mendonça didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pavel Balc went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pavel Balc in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guilherme Mendonça prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dário Schmidt in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dragomir Marchovski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Pavel Balc's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guilherme Mendonça read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. After 40th play minutes Pavel Balc shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Guilherme Mendonça and just under the crossbar into goal. Guilherme Mendonça came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Stone City's Pavel Balc. But to his dismay, Pavel Balc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

Stone City made a substitution. Amanda Ingesson replaced Derek Yu. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pavel Balc stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Pavel Balc dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Guilherme Mendonça, 0-6. Pavel Balc might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guilherme Mendonça. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pavel Balc ran back to his position shaking his head. FC St. Pauli's Guilherme Mendonça proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save FC St. Pauli from getting a goal against them. Stone City made a substitution. Marcus Lindström replaced Chu Wen Le. Stone City's Lucho Cal managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Manoel Silveira in the 64 minute of the game. Dário Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Dragomir Marchovski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leon Matthäus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Guilherme Mendonça made a huge save. If Leon Matthäus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Leon Matthäus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guilherme Mendonça was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Stone City's Amanda Ingesson in the 79th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Guilherme Mendonça was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for FC St. Pauli through an amazing save. Stone City's attentive Lucho Cal managed to snatch the ball when Ramiro Massa made a throw-in in the 85th minute of the game. Leon Matthäus succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-9 in the 86th playminute. Stone City's Leon Matthäus got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st match minute, Stone City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Tomasson to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute, Marcus Lindström fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Guilherme Mendonça, passed just outside the right post. Guilherme Mendonça was out of position in the 98 minute of play, and Leon Matthäus capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leon Matthäus really showed his touch with that goal: 0-10.
