The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. David Abeijon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chatziioannou Stavrakos, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Drafi's Manolis Ntouvaris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robustiano Guillem in the 9th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Jedi Knights's goal looked a bit too open when Soulis Felegakis came free, but David Abeijon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manolis Ntouvaris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Bento in the 16th minute of the match. Jedi Knights's David Abeijon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Jedi Knights from getting a goal against them. Robustiano Guillem took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manolis Ntouvaris. In the 40th minute Robustiano Guillem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manolis Ntouvaris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 41 minutes, Edgard Elssen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Drafi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgard Elssen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th match minute, Jedi Knights was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Ferran to maneuver through the defense. David Abeijon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chatziioannou Stavrakos in the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Bento to make the kick off. In the 79thth minute of the game Edgard Elssen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jedi Knights's David Abeijon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Casimiro Herena could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which Manolis Ntouvaris however easily saved by the left post. Jedi Knights's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Baldomiro Tolino in the 81st minute. Jedi Knights's David Abeijon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Malinovský in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Malinovský in the 90th minute of play forced Jedi Knights's goalkeeper David Abeijon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute Edgard Elssen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Abeijon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
