Bill Nietlispach was slow to take the kick. During this time ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's players had a chance to rest. In the 23rd minute of the match, Celedonio Florinio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kasım Okanalp was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's Alejandro Larpe managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Frank Cromefeldt in the 25 minute of the game. Kasım Okanalp made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 56th minute of the match, Dong Cheng Si tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ademir Baptista saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 58th minute Milosz Hejza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kasım Okanalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celedonio Florinio in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kasım Okanalp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Bill Nietlispach managed to get in a good position for a shot. ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's supporters rose to their feet, but Bill Nietlispach was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ademir Baptista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kasım Okanalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilmar Borges in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Gilmar Borges left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Matungo Gaúcho fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Matungo Gaúcho.
