Foguera's Allande Soto got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Jack Taylor kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ganix Casillas. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. In the 11th minute Ivan Rubio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Gardner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Walter Gardner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allande Soto, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Sam Lowe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th match minute, Nancy AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jack Taylor to maneuver through the defense. Walter Gardner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Rubio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Howard's late challenge caught a Foguera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Howard helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Foguera's David Villa got a free kick in the 29th minute. 33 minutes into the game, Ivan Rubio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Walter Gardner was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Nancy AFC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Blair Trueman hit a great ball. Nancy AFC's Walter Gardner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Villa in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Alfie Downham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute, Ivan Rubio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Foguera fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After a rather tough play, Nancy AFC's Alfie Downham got a free kick in the 46th minute.

Ivan Rubio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Walter Gardner made a huge save. Foguera's Ivan Rubio was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 59th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Foguera's goal looked a bit too open when Sam Lowe came free, but Ganix Casillas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 64 minutes into the game, when Graham Forster put in a rough tackle. After a defensive mix-up in Nancy AFC's zone, Ivan Rubio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walter Gardner came out of the goal and Ivan Rubio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Rubio in the 74th minute of play forced Nancy AFC's goalkeeper Walter Gardner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Allande Soto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Walter Gardner. That made the score 1-5 in the 79 minute of play. Walter Gardner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Rubio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 86 minutes of play, Foguera's David Villa made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Walter Gardner was left in no man's land by his defense there! 94 minutes into the match, Nancy AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Rubio came free, but Walter Gardner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Nancy AFC booed when Foguera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allande Soto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Walter Gardner was a little too slow when David Villa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 97th minute. The score was now 1-7.
