An unexpectedly hard shot by Gino do Valle in the 9th minute of play forced Gædd FK's goalkeeper Andreas Berglund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Gædd FK's goal looked a bit too open when Doni Barbosa came free, but Andreas Berglund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gædd FK's Severin Hussein got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute Gino do Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Berglund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gædd FK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Doni Barbosa was slow to take the kick. During this time Limoeiro-PE FC's players had a chance to rest. After 17 minutes Gædd FK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Doni Barbosa who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Limoeiro-PE FC's corner Doni Barbosa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Andreas Berglund quite easily take care of the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Limoeiro-PE FC's Gino do Valle nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andreas Berglund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 24th minute, Gino do Valle made a precise shot to the right of Andreas Berglund. Gædd FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 41 minutes of play, Limoeiro-PE FC's Gino do Valle made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andreas Berglund was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gino do Valle made a kick off. Andreas Berglund made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Gino do Valle sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Gædd FK's Gard Borlaug got a free kick in the 57th minute. Limoeiro-PE FC's Luís Fabiano Fontes shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 58th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Andreas Berglund but with some difficulty. With a little luck, Gædd FK's Andreas Berglund got control of the ball when Gino do Valle tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gædd FK's Gard Borlaug got a free kick in the 59th minute. When Gino do Valle came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Limoeiro-PE FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gino do Valle couldn't finish the play. Andreas Berglund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gino do Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Doni Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Limoeiro-PE FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Doni Barbosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andreas Berglund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Limoeiro-PE FC played a much better game than Gædd FK and deserved their victory. The Gædd FK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
