In the 11th minute Mikael Liberatore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willian Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Willian Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Liberatore in the 13th minute of play. The corner led Wargön's Júlio Munhoz to fire away a dangerous shot which Willian Negri despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 19th minute Hélder Nóbrega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sören Tunberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sören Tunberg made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Olívio Marques sent off a good shot on target. Sören Tunberg was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Olívio Marques capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Olívio Marques really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Willian Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bayan Baye in the 24th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mikael Liberatore in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Willian Negri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Willian Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bayan Baye, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the game, Sandrinho Valle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SAS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wargön the free kick. In the 31st minute, Sandrinho Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Willian Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Liberatore in the 32nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Mikael Liberatore's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Willian Negri was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 35th minute of the match Wargön got a corner. SAS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bayan Baye ran over to the corner to take the kick. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by SAS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bayan Baye was slow to take the kick. During this time Wargön's players had a chance to rest. 41 minutes into the match, Mikael Liberatore notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of SAS's Willian Negri. Willian Negri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Wargön were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mikael Liberatore to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olívio Marques in the 52nd minute of play forced Wargön's goalkeeper Sören Tunberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Wargön's goal looked a bit too open when Giuseppe Couto came free, but Sören Tunberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wargön's Artur Buba got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 59 minutes into the game, Mikael Liberatore recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Willian Negri. Mikael Liberatore showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nils-Arne Nilsson got free with Willian Negri in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nils-Arne Nilsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Willian Negri made a huge save. 71 minutes into the match, SAS's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Buba came free, but Willian Negri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Hélder Trancoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivar Siöberg in the 75th minute of play forced SAS's goalkeeper Willian Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Willian Negri was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zdzislaw Liermann showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 77 minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Wargön's Bayan Baye nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Willian Negri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Bayan Baye took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Willian Negri to make any attempt to save it. Thanks to some nice moves Ivar Siöberg could shoot a difficult shot in the 90th minute, which Willian Negri however easily saved by the left post. 93 minutes into the match, Artur Buba dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Willian Negri, 1-8. When the final whistle sounded Wargön left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SAS.
