Fabien Canu might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donato Foddis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pekko Rino to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Carlos Taillade sped through AC Collins's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Donato Foddis. 60 minutes into the game, Lunar Park's Fabien Canu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Donato Foddis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. AC Collins's Camillo Pagliarini was substituted for Zacarias Theodore. AC Collins made a substitution. When the match was over Lunar Park could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than AC Collins throughout the match.
