Marcos Ranolfo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbigniew Zatorski, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Raphael Dantas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kraig Fred's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. A collision led to Estudiantes de América getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Kert Roolaid hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- defense, Kraig Fred kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raphael Dantas. The Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raphael Dantas should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbigniew Zatorski in the 25th minute of play forced Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Marcos Ranolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kraig Fred sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Raphael Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kraig Fred in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of Estudiantes de América booed when Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrea Heraso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute Kraig Fred shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raphael Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute Estudiantes de América were awarded a corner. Szymon Pilitowski went to the cornerflag to take it. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The wind increased when Tony Thanos made the kick off in the second half. Kraig Fred struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Raphael Dantas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estudiantes de América. A throw-in in the 56th minute of the game was made by Andrea Heraso with Mauro Quirino as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Estudiantes de América made a substitution. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlando Beltza got free with Raphael Dantas in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Estudiantes de América's Marcos Ranolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Toribio in the 74th minute of play. Marcos Ranolfo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Thanos, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Orlando Beltza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Raphael Dantas made a huge save. 90 minutes into the match, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s goal looked a bit too open when Concetto Trasatti came free, but Raphael Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Concetto Trasatti got free with Raphael Dantas in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 92 minutes into the game, Estudiantes de América's Traian Blăniță nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
