Falcão Cunha made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Amado Janpier sent off a good shot on target. 22 minutes into the match, Gracie Barra's Augusto Saldanha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roch Puch narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Roch Puch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Saldanha, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gracie Barra eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
