Ponciano De Pedro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guy Bernaerts in the 14th minute of the match. It was a well-played corner which Laurence Schautens managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The audience was convinced that Guy Bernaerts's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ponciano De Pedro was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. When Trifillia.FC's Jassem Al Khars in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Teodosio Bermudez fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trifillia.FC's protests and gave Teodosio Bermudez a yellow card for diving instead. Teodosio Bermudez hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Jassem Al Kharss short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Haroldo Garin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jassem Al Khars's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Haroldo Garin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 35th match minute, Trifillia.FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christoforos Zografos to maneuver through the defense. Nikos Kakavetsis might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Haroldo Garin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nikos Kakavetsis ran back to his position shaking his head. When Corbera FC's Guy Bernaerts in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Trifillia.FC's goalie prevented a goal. Ponciano De Pedro came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Corbera FC's Guy Bernaerts. But to his dismay, Guy Bernaerts quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 44 minutes into the game, Nikos Kakavetsis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Haroldo Garin. Nikos Kakavetsis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guy Bernaerts to strike the kick off in the second half. Guy Bernaerts struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Ponciano De Pedro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corbera FC. Ponciano De Pedro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guy Bernaerts in the 53rd minute of play. Teodosio Bermudez kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Angelino Eliu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 55th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Trifillia.FC's goalkeeper Ponciano De Pedro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emiliano Eliu. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jassem Al Khars in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Haroldo Garin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Haroldo Garin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikos Kakavetsis, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 65th minute Nikos Kakavetsis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Garin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nikos Kakavetsis in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Haroldo Garin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Trifillia.FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Vaggelis Kalpis hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the match, Trifillia.FC's goalkeeper Ponciano De Pedro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emiliano Eliu. Haroldo Garin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jassem Al Khars in the 76th minute of the match. The supporters of Trifillia.FC booed when Corbera FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godofredo Guilabertus didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Jassem Al Khars's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Haroldo Garin was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. 86 minutes into the match, Corbera FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jassem Al Khars came free, but Haroldo Garin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute Guy Bernaerts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ponciano De Pedro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Corbera FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
