In the 6th minute, Niek Wander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 8 minutes into the match, Shaolin soccer's Miromir Lichorobiec sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Witalis Chmielecki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Shaolin soccer's Gustaw Gibowski got a free kick in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the match, MZKS Sharks Gdynia's Artur Rakiewicz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wlodzimierz Osielski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wlodzimierz Osielski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Rakiewicz in the 17th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Artur Rakiewicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wlodzimierz Osielski. Shaolin soccer's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Artur Rakiewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 22 minutes into the match, Shaolin soccer's Miromir Lichorobiec sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Witalis Chmielecki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Shaolin soccer's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariusz Pieknik in the 23rd minute. The corner ended in Mariusz Pieknik almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MZKS Sharks Gdynia's Witalis Chmielecki did a great save. With a little luck, MZKS Sharks Gdynia's Witalis Chmielecki got control of the ball when Miromir Lichorobiec tried to sneak it across the goal line. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by MZKS Sharks Gdynia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mariusz Pieknik was slow to take the kick. During this time Shaolin soccer's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Shaolin soccer's Miromir Lichorobiec to a score. 1-1 in the 26th minute. A collision led to Shaolin soccer getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Freek Saarberg hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, Shaolin soccer's Miromir Lichorobiec ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Witalis Chmielecki. Witalis Chmielecki yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Wlodzimierz Osielski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Rakiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 41 minutes, Miromir Lichorobiec managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shaolin soccer's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miromir Lichorobiec was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miromir Lichorobiec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Radomil Bielatowicz to make the kick off. Witalis Chmielecki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miromir Lichorobiec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Shaolin soccer's Miromir Lichorobiec in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MZKS Sharks Gdynia's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miromir Lichorobiec in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Witalis Chmielecki saved MZKS Sharks Gdynia from getting behind. Witalis Chmielecki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miromir Lichorobiec in the 67th minute of play. After 71 played minutes Shaolin soccer got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Walczyk. Artur Rakiewicz, 72 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a little luck, Shaolin soccer's Wlodzimierz Osielski got control of the ball when Niek Wander tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wlodzimierz Osielski was a little too slow when Niek Wander got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 2-3. MZKS Sharks Gdynia made a substitution. Gao Gang replaced Anthony Lucentini. After a defensive mix-up in MZKS Sharks Gdynia's zone, Miromir Lichorobiec stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Witalis Chmielecki came out of the goal and Miromir Lichorobiec tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Shaolin soccer's Miromir Lichorobiec got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. MZKS Sharks Gdynia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
