An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjeld Hofgaard in the 8th minute of play forced Väderstad FK's goalkeeper Olle Mellberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 9 minutes, Noel Pimenta made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Väderstad FK's Olle Mellberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Noel Pimenta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Olle Mellberg having to make a save. After having played for 23 minutes, Noel Pimenta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. OSASCO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Noel Pimenta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th minute, Kjeld Hofgaard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kjeld Hofgaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Noel Pimenta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olle Mellberg. Väderstad FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Noel Pimenta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The supporters of Väderstad FK booed when OSASCO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Betinho Pimenta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olle Mellberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Germano Bertassi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute Noel Pimenta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olle Mellberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Väderstad FK's Olle Mellberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjeld Hofgaard in the 39th minute of play. In the 40thth minute of the game Noel Pimenta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Väderstad FK's Olle Mellberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Olle Mellberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Germano Bertassi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olle Mellberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Germano Bertassi went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 46th minute, Germano Bertassi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olle Mellberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Noel Pimenta to strike the kick off in the second half. Elof Persson charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elof Persson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 51 played minutes Väderstad FK got a freekick which was hit by Elof Persson. OSASCO FC were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Väderstad FK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Atilano Telo took the corner. Olle Mellberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Germano Bertassi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Kjeld Hofgaard came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the OSASCO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kjeld Hofgaard couldn't finish the play. If Noel Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olle Mellberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Noel Pimenta's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Olov Söder could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Olle Mellberg made a huge save. 69 minutes into the match, Väderstad FK's goal looked a bit too open when Germano Bertassi came free, but Olle Mellberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Väderstad FK's zone, Olov Söder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olle Mellberg came out of the goal and Olov Söder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olle Mellberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjeld Hofgaard in the 74th minute of play. In the 78th minute Aron Arvidsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tostão Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tostão Domingues stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edvin Holmgren's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Tostão Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Einar Westerberg in the 79th minute of play. Olle Mellberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kjeld Hofgaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Noel Pimenta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Olle Mellberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Väderstad FK's Olle Mellberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Germano Bertassi in the 89th minute of play. When Olov Söder fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored OSASCO FC's protests and gave Olov Söder a yellow card for diving instead. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Kjeld Hofgaard sped through Väderstad FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Olle Mellberg. OSASCO FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
