The referee ignored FC Budapest's protests and gave János Gere a yellow card for diving instead. After 4 played minutes FC Budapest got a freekick which was hit by János Gere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shi Zhen Liang in the 6th minute of play forced FC Budapest's goalkeeper Bálint Hellinger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 played minutes Auktsjaur IF got a freekick which was hit by Karl Backlund. Auktsjaur IF's Julian Borcz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Auktsjaur IF from getting a goal against them. Viktor Edelényi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Julian Borcz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bálint Hellinger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Helge Molander, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Helge Molander in the 24th minute of play forced FC Budapest's goalkeeper Bálint Hellinger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Budapest's goalkeeper Bálint Hellinger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Helge Molander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bálint Hellinger was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Helge Molander might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bálint Hellinger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Helge Molander ran back to his position shaking his head. 29 minutes into the match, FC Budapest's goal looked a bit too open when Helge Molander came free, but Bálint Hellinger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Viktor Edelényi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julian Borcz. Viktor Edelényi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After 37 played minutes FC Budapest got a freekick which was hit by Jeromos Mayer. Bálint Hellinger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Helge Molander, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Bálint Hellinger came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Auktsjaur IF's Helge Molander. But to his dismay, Helge Molander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Julian Borcz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from János Holzhauser in the 40th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Shi Zhen Liang to make the kick off. Helge Molander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bálint Hellinger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 50th minute of play. Auktsjaur IF's Julian Borcz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miklós Fehér in the 51st minute of play. Bálint Hellinger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Helge Molander, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. If Helge Molander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, Auktsjaur IF's Bálint Hellinger threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Helge Molander, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Edelényi in the 58th minute of play forced Auktsjaur IF's goalkeeper Julian Borcz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, János Holzhauser notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Auktsjaur IF's Julian Borcz. Julian Borcz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bálint Hellinger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Helge Molander in the 69th minute. Julian Borcz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Edelényi in the 82nd minute of play. After some careless play in the FC Budapest defense, Helge Molander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bálint Hellinger. The FC Budapest fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bálint Hellinger should have stopped the shot. Helge Molander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julian Borcz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miklós Fehér, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the game, Casper Wennerqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Auktsjaur IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Budapest the free kick. After 94 played minutes Auktsjaur IF got a freekick which was hit by Casper Wennerqvist.
