Grytöl's Karl-Erik Västlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osman Nuri Enver in the 15th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Anselmo Lucila successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 18 minutes los nadies's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mats Ström who took care of the corner kick. In the 23rd minute Edmílson Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Erik Västlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bengt-Arne Torstensson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmílson Cunha couldn't finish the play. Cenan Ergüven kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the game, Grytöl's Christer Johansson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anselmo Lucila made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
